Overview
FuelRoute is a fuel price comparison app for UK drivers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Location Data
FuelRoute requests access to your device’s location to:
- Find fuel stations near your current position
- Show your location on the map
Your location is processed entirely on your device. It is used only to query the local database for nearby stations and to centre the map. We do not receive, log, or store your location data on any server.
Fuel Price Data
The app retrieves fuel price data directly from UK retailer open data feeds (Asda, BP, Esso, JET, Morrisons, Moto, Motor Fuel Group, Rontec, Sainsbury’s, SGN, Shell, Tesco), published under the CMA fuel price transparency scheme. These requests do not include any personally identifiable information.
iCloud Sync
If enabled, FuelRoute uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your favourites across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us.
Third-Party Services
FuelRoute does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Retention
